Howrse: Only a Game?

May 3, 2008 / by WheelinRound

If you're looking for an online game packed with fun and horses, Howrse is the place to be! It is played by over 450,000 people around the world, ranging from children to adults alike. To begin a game, a person must choose a horse or pony, its color, breed, gender, and name. Unlike other internet games, your horse is not just a name on the screen. The fact that Howrse makes its horses look realalistic is part of why so many people enjoy it.

Here's what long-time player, rider1213 has to say about Howrse:

"I apsolutly love Howrse! It is fun to try and be the best breeder and to talk with the other players. After a while, the horses almost seem real, and it is cool to know that you are incharge of their lives and what they do each day."

     Ballet_Freak says:

"I think Howrse is the coolest horse game ever, because you can train your horse and take care of it, and sometimes it even gets sick, just like in real life!"

Another thing players enjoy is that, well, Howrse never gets boring! There is always something new going on, such as contests or the arrival of new breeds. Parents love it, because the game moderators do everything they can to keep Howrse a safe and friendly enviroment.

     Tally Marx says:

"Howrse is a fun game, but its joys do not lie in the programming. Rather, its the people who play on it that make the game enjoyable."

This is what NRHA freak thinks of Howrse:

"I love Howrse. I especially like choosing the breed of my first horse, talking with friends, owning an equestrian center, and breeding my horses. The Howrse team is very nice."

As you can see, Howrse is truly an exceptional game. Its players now have something very exciting to look forward to; a new version of Howrse! This version will hopefully make the game even more enjoyable then it already is and keep it running for a long, long time. If you are interested in playing on Howrse, just go to www.howrse.com. and be sure to visit me, Bouncin_By, while you're at it!
